Xhris07, the learning process is a bit confusing if u haven't used any 3D program before but once u get the hang of it, or at least the basics, u'll be able to pick different modeling techniques very quick. polygon modeling is more or less the same in all the software packages but NURBS/SPLINE modeling differs. The best tools for NURBS/SPLINE modeling are Rhinoceros and Alias Studio (formerly Studio Tools) - the links are provided above.

Just a word of advice, try and stick to the software package that u most comfortable with, try them all out (most of them have 30 day trials) and see which one suites your needs or taste. Enjoy...

Where can I find some resources for 3D movies?
To be more in depth, where are good websites and journals to learn about 3D movies? The things I need to cover are, How 3D movies are made presently, how can we play 3D movies as opposed to 2D movies, and how do we view them to see a 3D image that isnt there.
