![]() | ok lots of times there are questions like "My website is too slow, my webserver is crawling, my ISP is dead, how can I speed up the loading of my website??" and most of the times, there's no answer, right? NO, there's an answer. We can cache our ASP pages whose content is not changed regularly. Since the content of these pages don't change regularly, they can be cached on the client side & whenever the user open them, they are served from the local cache & not the server. It has 2 benefits. 1) The website appears to load fast, & thus prevents the frustration of your visitors & keep them on your website. 2) Your server don't have to serve these pages on every request, which helps you maintain the bandwidth usage under control. Now, most of you must be wondering as to what is caching etc. To answer that, I'll ask you to open this link. http://www.developerfusion.com/show/4232/ I wrote this article at www.developerfusion.com on this subject. So, instead of posting it here again, I've given the link to you. You can read it at http://www.developerfusion.com/show/4232/ & rate it if you like it.
