| Administrator Disciple | I’m having a problem with a bandwidth hog in my house. He downloads from P2P programs and it slows down my internet connection. I found a temporary solution in that when I turn my router’s firewall on high it blocks those ports so he can’t download. The only thing about that is that while blocking those ports, turning the firewall on high blocks my trillian instant messaging ports. I’ve set up port forwarding to allow the trillian ports, but still no luck. Is there a way to allow him to download from P2P programs, but regulate his bandwidth usage?

| Administrator Disciple | I’d rather do this where it is not under HIS control at all. I want to do all of it without his consent or knowledge. I’m thinking there might be bandwidth regulator software our there as Cota suggested.
