I was hoping some of my clients would let me alone today as i'm sure most of them know it's my birthday today, but no such luck.

I am extremely busy today.

Nah we never get that lucky on birthdays.:D It is like a sign that says hey we wanna work or something. I have yet to see a birthday where my clients didn't call me. Just make sure to take some time today for your self.
