Now Accepting Applications for New Moderators

Applications for moderators and administrator positions on our forums are now being accepted in the moderator administrator application thread.

Please be sure that you meet the following minimum requirements to become a moderator or administrator before posting. (Requirements are subject to revision, so check back to this thread before your application post.)

Requirements are as follows:

• Moderators must have a genuine interest in improving and maintaining the quality of our forums
  
• Moderators must understand and comply with regulated posts. It's your responsibility as a moderator to hold a certain image of maturity and respectability; not only for yourselves as moderators, but for our forums in a whole.
  
• Moderators understand that you cannot, under any circumstance delete a thread or a post. It is my responsibility as the site owner to do that. You are to report the post to me and i will take the necessary action. (this policy is subject to a per moderator basis)
  
• Moderator must be active posters. There are no daily or weekly requirements for posts, but you must maintain a certain level of activity that is completely up to my discretion.
  
• Must be a team leader
  
• Must be able to handle situations such as flaming
  
• Must have at least enough knowledge in web development to be able to troubleshoot problems.
  
• Must visit the forums at least 4 days out of a 7 day week.
  
• Moderators should try and remember to welcome new members.
  
• Moderators should try and keep posts at least 300 characters or more where possible
  
• Familiarize yourself with the forum rules as you will be enforcing them on a daily basis.

Once a moderator is considered for the position he or she will obtain the status title of "Moderator Elect" This does not mean we are holding any kind of election process, but that the new moderator's permanent position is in pending status.
