Post Youtube and Google Video in Threads

You may have noticed a couple threads here and there with embedded YouTube and Google Videos in them. This is an extra added feature.

If you're wondering how it was done or have already tried posting your video in a thread and came up with an empty white box or some other error, this thread will explain how to fix the problem.

Posting Google Video
Locate the Google icon in the message editor and click it. This will automatically post the Google video BB code where you can input the video code.

Instead of entering the full URL for the video you're going to enter just the number sequence at the end of the URL. eg.

Full URL (without quotes) -

Code:

"http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-4631171106002398288&hl=en"

Code to enter (without quotes) -

Code:

"4631171106002398288"

if your video still doesn't show up add a (without quotes) "-" before the number sequence.

Posting YouTube Video
Locate the YouTube icon in the message editor and click it. This will automatically post the YouTube video BB code where you can input the video code.
