So glad GSMer. While I was at work, am in a very well covered city, my colleague and I compare signals. He is on ATT & I on Verizon. Both iPhone 4th I consistently more Pubs & 100% fewer dropped calls. We ran speed tests & out are about the same to be averaged. Perhaps an analogy comparing CDMA and GSM to AM & FM radio would help you the differences between the two types.
