| Administrator Disciple | One of the main reasons we are here as a community on NY-Dev is to give opinions on one another’s work. Members join and post new projects in development and will want to discuss ways to improve their design with their peers. It is helpful when a member can get real constructive criticism about their design. Although I’m sure any member would be flattered by a comment like “great job! You’re the man!” a post like “I really enjoy the way the light on the left hand side reflects well with the navigation bar” would be a lot more helpful for the member’s growth as a designer or programmer. The way you accept constructive criticism as the member looking for critiques is also very important. If you plan on being and active member and posting your work here regularly other members might be turned off if you don’t take criticism well. If you are going to be giving your opinion on someone else’s work:
