![]() | Are you a golfer, dear guys? Are you professional or amateur? No matter what kind of golfers you are, no matter what level you are now, buying a good iron is same goals for us! If you are still confused and can't find your baby, just buy the Titleist AP1 712 Irons! It won't be wrong! Take me as an example! First of all, I had been playing with the same clubs for the past 10 years (Titleist DCI) so I know anything today would be a lot different. In the first place, the titleist ap1 have a great feel and a very consistent ball flight/distance. These clubs want to hit the ball straight, which is fine with me! When I have tried to fade or draw the ball, it starts out moving and then straighens itself out. 99% of the time, a straight shot is what you need and is more beneficial to me than the ability to fade/draw 1% of the time. Also, as with any club, swing with a smooth tempo at 80% and you'll love how the ball jumps off the club face. My most typical mis-hit is hitting the ball off the toe. With these clubs, the ball flight is still straight with about 80-90% of the anticipated distance. Not that bad of a result from a poor swing. I also looked at Mizuno in ap1, loved the feel on a pure shot, but not so good even on slight mis-hits. I shoot in the low 80's and felt they were a bit too much for me at this time. And at the urging of my friends at work, I looked at Ping...too clunky and no "feel" to them even though the shots themselves were fine. Overall, I would not hesitate to recommend the ap1 irons to anyone looking for a great feeling club that hits the ball straight. |
