Default What HTML editor do you use?

I use Dreamweaver 8. I have Frontpage and a bunch of others I can use, but Deamweaver is the best.

What do you use?

I use NotePad. I actually find DreamWeaver more complicated to use than NotePad. I also find that with NotePad, I learn a lot more which is what I want to do because, I want to get into web design.

Notepad will be fine for you for now since you are just getting into web design, but you will find that you are going to have to use a program like dreamweaver when programming a larger script. It helps you find errors in your code by color coding and such. note that you do not have to use design mode. Try it ssome time.

Dreamweaver and Notepad for me.

99% of the time I am using dreamweaver - every now and then I like going old school and using notepad :)

There is nothing wrong with using a text editor such as notepad, notepad++ or my favorite VI... www.vim.org

I've been doing web programming for a few years now, and I went through a Dreamweaver phase, but after all of I eventually went back to using a basic text-editor.

TakeCare.

Gotta be Dreamweaver for me - I just think it makes the whole coding process a lot easier.

I've used a lot of them - I go back to the days of HoTMetaL and HotDog. I like Dreamweaver and a freebie editor, PageBreeze, and my NoteTab Light. NoteTab is a text editor with a lot of handly little extras for coders, including bracket checking and line numbering.

I use my own application - php_e for all my html, css and code - it's available for download from CNET, but I'll be posting a new version here soon.

Probably tomorrow in fact.

Regards

I am also good fan of Dreamweaver as I think it is simply "the best".
