Default Color Prefences

When you make a bannr what kind of color prefences you like?
For me, when I make a banner I like to make a dark background, a bright image, and text related to the backgound and most visible. Such as:
white on black/vice versa
blue on grey
etc.
My favorite color for making banners is blue and whtie.

It depends on what it's for and what I'm in the mood to do. Man, I don't even know how to respond here. There are way too many aspects of design to even start talking about it. As long as you bring a focus to what need the focus (i.e. text you want emphasized), the rest can be anything.

One thing I can say is that a simpler background is usually better. Too much going on in the background is distracting. (Unless that's the point. See, there are exceptions to everything.)

I personally like Icy Blue on Black. But again, as CreateAge_Kevin said, the colors may be different for a different project.

Yeah it depends completely on the project for me, if I were telling you what I like that would be because of something I have in my mind that I am thinking of making. hehe.

I like to use a blank background, start brushing with white, then black, then I repeat. My renders usually just blend into my backgrounds.

I don’t know how to answer this. It depends. What do you mean? A banner? You mean an ad banner or what?

I have always learned if you are going to design something nice, try to use as little white as you can. But after designing for a couple of years myself I figured out you can use any color you want, as long as you know how to work with it!

I generally like dark and light.
I use black and white schemes the most.
I have no reason why I like them.
I just been using them and like them.

Can you show me some examples of black and white schemes? I'm always doing alot of colors, but would be interested in doing some more black and white work aswell!
