Okay, y'all. I taught myself to use this thing so I could write this for just for you, Klaas. It turned out a little bulky to post here (and I don't have Acrobat publisher :(), so it's posted on my own site as

The Infitech Font Design Tutorial

Hope you find it helpful - I actually had so much fun with it that I've done five or six fonts just for fun.
