| Hey Marc Thank you for the kind words. Glad you found us. Heh - that is SOME coincidence :) I took a look at the site you linked to in your signature and it looks like you have some quality software there. How long has the company been around? From the looks of it your software is aimed towards giving some ease to the web development process. I did skim through the thread you refer to on talkgraphics and noticed that you touched a little bit on a question that some designers may come up with when researching your products. Quick Q & A: Q - What do you say to those designers who might ask whether maybe making it easier means less quality in design? My stand on it is a lot like cota's in this thread when he says Quote:
We're glad you're here.

| Thanks SH! nice to hear from you. "I, personally, don't care what software you use, the end result is all that matters" <--- excellent quote. That's basically my answer to the question. I tried to convey this in the TalkGraphics forum, but I was banned from the forum. I originally created The Logo Creator (my first product) back in 2001. I was (and am) a graphic designer. I created all of the logos in every logo edition that's on the site. The original intent of the software was to let my own customers modify one of my templates - tweek it to their liking, and show me the final result. I was then supposed to tighten it up and create the corporate identity from it. But soon, I had more designers using the software than customers who didn't want to pay $500 for a logo. Which is why I was a bit hurt to hear Risto Klint in the other forum put the software down so harshly. In fact, I'd like to make the software available here in this forum just to see what you all can do with it. If anybody is interested, I'll PM a direct link to one of the logo sets for you. I don't want the download to be posted on Google so I won't post it here. But I would really love to see what you designers can do with it. - Marc |
